Sylvia Lovely is an author, commentator, teacher and speaker who uses her unique background to assist leaders and governing bodies in developing the resiliency necessary to fulfill the mission against the relentless pace of the 21st century. She served 22 years as CEO of the Kentucky League of Cities and, with a staff of 80, implemented programming in communications, education, leadership development, legislative advocacy, and insurance and financial services. She also founded the NewCities Institute, a 501 c 3 dedicated to fostering civic engagement.
